For a brief moment, it looked like Mile was exactly where every young rock band hopes to be: a major label deal, radio airplay, and national tours with some of the biggest bands in rock. The experience taught me a lot about the music business—but even more about creativity, authenticity, and what it really means to be an artist.

John took my drums and re-worked the bass guitar. We added acoustic guitar, organ and other stuff. This song got added to radio and had a lot to do with me getting signed. John did great work with this song. This and one other song we did “Summers” were on the Aware 6 compilation.
